Labour Hire License Preparation & Support
The Approach
1. Conduct the Business Monitor Review (BMR) with you – a one hour discussion around the key compliance requirements. We cover insurances, safety, financial controls and more. You receive a report identifying any areas of risk so you can address any problems yourself, or select one of our Business Monitor Program services to help.
2. We help you complete the application, checking for consistency with other public registers, and explain any additional information and evidence required.
3. Although not mandatory, a business plan may assist your application. It is important that this plan reflects your own compliance and other management controls.
4. A final careful and thorough check of your application, then you submit and pay the Labour Hire Authority lodgement fees.
Our fees are $2200 for first license application (includes $700 subscription for the Business Monitor Review and 12 months subscription to the to the Business Monitor webinars including attendance to four webinars for free); $450 for each subsequent application.
Preparing a business plan is $850, and whilst the content of this plan is limited to LHL requirements, you can reuse and expand this as you need for other purposes.
Labour hire licencing (LHL) legislation is in place in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory. If you conduct a business that involves supplying one or more individuals to work in a business owned by another person, you need to apply for a licence to operate as a Labour Hire Provider.
Each state/territory has their own legislation with slightly different requirements and different application formats. We can help you navigate the requirements, and most importantly, check that your business does meet the compliance levels that are required by these licenses.
